Turner's "Excellence" Awarded
Turner receives award for excellence in workforce development and award for excellence in safety

Turner Industries and ExxonMobil were recipients of the Five Star Award, a new top recognition award unveiled at the Capital Area United Way campaign announcement event in Baton Rouge, La. The award recognizes companies that excel in the key United Way actions involving giving, advocacy, and volunteerism. Turner Industries charitable workplace contributions, including underwriting sponsorships such as Imagination Library in Geismar, LA and committing to community volunteer activities through TEAM Turner, got them a nomination. Roland Toups, Turner Industries Chairman and CEO, accepted the award on Turner's behalf.
