LSU recognizes Turner's local, national economic impact

The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute (SEI) at Louisiana State University chose Turner Industries to be in its inaugural LSU Top 100 list. The list celebrates the success of LSU graduates and their impact on the local, regional and national economies. The LSU Top 100 program allows Turner to network with current LSU students, particularly those interested in entrepreneurship.

Jill Roshto, director of development for SEI, said of Turner Industries in a recent congratulatory statement to Turner: "Turner Industries is indicative of the Tiger-led businesses that we are looking for to show other Tigers from every college on campus what they need to do to be successful," Roshto said.

To qualify for this designation, companies must have been in business for five or more years, earned revenues of over $100,000 during the previous calendar year, have a former LSU student own at least 50 percent of the company (or a CEO, president or managing partner), and operate in a manner consistent with the mission of LSU and LSU SEI.
